After splitting their four regular season encounters with not even a collective goal-for or goal-against to spare, Boisbriand finally got the better of their FB division rivals in a heart-pounding, nail-biting 2-1 championship victory.

POTG: Despite Supersquadra’s awesome offensive firepower, it was Carol-Ann Poliquin’s and Valerie Massey’s goals that would make the difference in this one.

RED, WHITE AND NEVER BLUE

It was another case of friendly fire as les Blancs et les Rouges finally settled the claim to the FA throne in a burst of Salaberry glory.

In the end, Salaberry Rouge would get the better of the same division-leading Blancs squad that had edged them out during the regular season, beating their sibling rivals 3-1 to cap off an inspiring playoff march.

POTG: Team sniper Nadege Akamse got two goals in the final, providing more than enough offence to give her Rouge the championship edge.

Special shout out to C3 Division underdogs Milanos for their 7-3 championship victory over panel favourites United FC – one of the few Laval upsets this Spring.

THE ENEMY OF MY ENEMY - AN ENEMY REGARDLESS

A beacon of team spirit all season long, the Ballkickers pulled together and fought back against Brossard’s spoiler extraordinaire to capture their first ever championship.

“If B-Town Select made it to the finals defeating FC Alianza and Blues Brothers, they were definitely a threat to us,” explains Jeff Li, recounting over e-mail how his team overcame an early deficit to pull out an eventual 2-1 victory over the playoff underdogs.
