César Farias won’t be betting the farm on his FC International stealing a championship this late in the season.

“Yes, we have a chance to finish first but that would mean that the top two teams each lose their final games, which is almost impossible,” he explains, downplaying their game in hand. “I think Real United is the most complete team in the league and I would expect them to reach the final. We just focus on winning one game at a time.”

The third seed FC International did guarantee themselves a postseason appearance and managed a little extra breathing room in the ultra competitive C2 Division with a 5-3 win over La Famiglia, who continue to cling on to the sixth and final playoff spot despite the loss.

POTG: Walid Khoder got his fourth goal in his last three games for FC International, a team that is by no means an offensive powerhouse in their respective division.
