You may excuse Joey Stallone for looking past FC Loco and straight into the eyes of the last team standing between him and the championship.

“The last time we played Calcio D’oro, we had the lead and let them get back into the game and win it,” explains the captain of the B4 regular season champs New Regime who, it should be noted, were 3-2 winners against FC Loco despite showing up with only seven guys. “This time there can’t be any mental lapses.”

Although Calcio D’Oro have indeed gotten the better of New Regime this season, it’s interesting that Stallone isn’t counting on his squad’s superior offense to make the difference in this one. “I think the game will come down to goalkeeping. The team with the hottest goalie will win. I have full confidence in mine.”

POTG: “ Everyone played amazing but if I had to chose one player it would be Steven Badia. He’s been battling a virus for the past week and looked like death but, somehow, was still able to be a rock for us in the back and a threat going forward.”
