ST. LEONARD – TROUBLE ALONG THE WATCHTOWER
01 Jul

It hasn’t been the smoothest summer for Night’s Watch – but then the last couple of weeks haven’t been so terrible either.

“Although there are only six teams in our division, they’re all tough to play against and we’ve had some trouble,” explained Anthony Cimino after a predictable rout over winless Atletico Madrid last week. Things got even more ‘fun’ this week when Cimino’s crew blanked VM Calcio 4-0 to avenge an earlier defeat and retake second spot in the C1 Division.

Night’s Watch fiercest opponent, however, remains top seed FC Azzurri. Without a third consecutive win against them this week, all that late June goodwill may just evaporate as quickly as it came.

POTG: Alex Bisceglia continues to impress with three goals in his last two games. Defender Paulo Nardalillo also earned his captain’s praise for being “a rock in the back.”
