After all but annihilating their first four opponents, you might say Clinique Universelle ran into the dreaded five-game hump.

“Last week, our team was unrecognizable,” explained captain Fellipe Monteiro following his squad’s first loss of the season, a 9-5 decision to third seed RM Castilla. “Some key players were injured and it made a big difference in our performance.”

True to Monteiro’s word, Clinique Universelle managed to “get their motivation back” and responded with a 5-2 win over FLL United this this week. Undefeated MV Augusta Canada, however, will cling to first in the C2 Division after manhandling the very same RM Castilla – setting up a dandy when the division’s top teams meet for the first time this season.

POTG: Marco Carneiro and Bruno Ferreira continue to be the Clinique Universelle’s most consistent goal scorers with no less than 15 goals between them.
