Respect for their opponents aside, even Don Bosco has to be pleased with their newfound killer instinct.

“The ten goals just proved that our new players locked in perfectly with the old Don Bosco core,” explains captain Vladimir Figaro following a 10-5 win over Italtech this week. “Each one of our players gives their ultimate best, much like the Brazil squad of 1970. This win was a total team effort.”

But then the season is still so very young, with FDM, Morocco United and Argentina all breathing down Don Bosco’s neck. So expect the current C1 leaders to spend the better part of June distancing itself from the pack.

POTG: Mehdi Aboutara and Rachid Mrani already have four goals apiece heading into only their third games of the season.
