AC Laval kicked up the perfect storm of talent and resolve and then left the Pharaohs writhing in their early summer dust.

“After a difficult first win, we made adjustments and tightened up our defense to come back strong against them,” explains captain Julien Blais in a thoughtful email detailing the lopsided 10-2 victory, their second straight. “But most of all it was all our players’ commitment that made the difference.”

The run-and-gun score line aside, keeper Christophe Allard was forced to stand on his head a couple of times before letting his forwards take care of the rest. Laval will look to remain undefeated against BSC Young Boys heading into the third week of the B4 season.
