FC Select Rive Sud couldn’t have served their revenge dish any colder.

Their winter season tarnished from their first-week encounter, the admittedly older and slower B Division champs still managed to claw past Sabbah in a heart-stopping 5-4 win this Sunday, marking their ninth-straight win since that season-opening loss.

“We had the chance to take advantage of the game with experienced players and with intensity on the pitch,” declared captain Jean-Philippe Loiselle. The win leaves the Rive Sud with a comfortable five-point lead and no other clear rival in sight until playoff time.
