LAVAL MEN – ONE TOO MANY MEN DOWN
02 Jan

Playing a man short was apparently not challenging enough. VMT wanted to make their lives really complicated.

“We were one man down all game,” explains captain Bruno Papaleo, telling it exactly like it is and was. “(We were) trailing 2-1 when one of our defenders was removed from the field by Totalcampo staff for not having a numbered jersey during an attack by the other team, resulting in their third goal and, ultimately, the demoralizing game changer.”

The Red Stars capitalized on the breakdown to emerge 5-1 winners and have now snuggled into fourth spot just ahead of VMT, leaving Mystik FC the only clear and present danger in the B2 Division.

POTG: Massimo Manago-Di Buono scored his first two of the season for the Red Stars, helping his squad snap a two-game losing streak.
