The race to the top of the C3 Division just became a two-team affair.

“Italtech is becoming a strong team with strong spirit because there is (mutual) respect and friendship,” declared coach, captain and top striker Mauro Tudda, who saw his boys beat third-seed Boiseries Elegance 5-4 in a crucial Friday night game to move into sole possession of second place.

Although there is now just one point separating Italtech and Argentine, the division leaders will occupy the psychological high ground given the 9-1 pummelling Italtech was forced to endure the first time around.
