Expats montreal
RDP – A WORK OF INTERNATIONAL ART
09 déc.

Eight nationalities, four championships and a collectively vengeful heart;

As far as tall orders go, division rivals AC Montreal couldn’t have asked for more from an Expats de Montreal side that brought the fresh wounds of a 4-0 pre-season beating to this particular dogfight.

“I thought maybe we’d crack after their first goal but we continued to play quite physical, without any cards, and made it 3-1 with five minutes to play on a Charles/Mike/Samir counterattack,” explains Olivier Bernabeau, the tactical-heart-and-soul Expat known only as ‘the Artist’. “That was the final shot to the head for AC Montreal. They weren’t really a threat after that.”

The 3-1 victory has put the Expats back atop the B2 Division – a position the ‘Artist’ is remiss to guarantee with any degree of certainty.

POTG: “Striker Silvio Nioi-Varg scored when it counted and delivered a very intense and physical performance alongside Matthieu Pin in the second half.”
