Even Mr. FC Brossard seemed surprised at how long it took FC Brossard to get this winter started proper.

“Our players wanted the win and it showed in the confidence they brought on the pitch,” declared coach Nermin Kobas after a 5-3 win against Brossard FC 1, the team’s first of the season. “While you may be used to seeing us on top of the standings, we’re going to wreak havoc on the leader board.”

The squad’s last two losses, it should be noted, did come against those very same D Division leaders FC Sabbah 1 and FC Select Rive Sud. Whether or not Kobas and crew have really turned a new leaf will only be determined against weaker competitors in the coming weeks.
