Their fourth win in five games brought a rookie rush of bold and declarative statements, bathed in an extended post-game afterglow.

“We are the underdogs of the C2 Division, we are the FC Red Bulls and we are going for the cup!” declared an excited César Farias by iPhone, the 4-3 win over the St. Viateur Bagels still fresh in his mind. “We are currently ranked third and we are looking forward to play against the top two teams.”

Farias and company will figure out just how long the sugar high can last as they prepare to battle top-notch Maxera and Lex United in the coming weeks.
