Nobody wants to remain a trophy-less nobody for too long. And there’s nothing like a big win to rejuvenate those sleeping insecurities.

“We have been a team for quite a few seasons now and we desperately want a championship to solidify the Argentalia name,” explains captain Marc Chiarella following a 6-4 nail biter of a victory over undefeated FDM, quite definitely the biggest obstacle to any championship dream.

Both squads currently share sole possession of the C1 Division. “FDM are a very organized team with a set style that they stick to. Despite that, we remained disciplined and kept a good structure so it was hard to break us down. FDM did tie it up late but we still managed to grab two late goals to take the win.”

POTG: Recent roster additions Damiano Mucci and Joey Poletta each scored a goal apiece in this game to compliment Chiarella’s own two-goal performance. “With the addition of these two players we have definitely improved our team. I think we have a great chance to go all the way this summer.”
