Until just recently, the FC Blues were getting a little too comfortable wallowing in their own misery.

But this week’s 2-0 win against Los Galacticos was the Blues’s fourth in their last six games. And while the late-season turnaround has been key to propelling the team back into playoff contention, equally telling is the fact that both losses have come against the division’s top squads – which bodes poorly for the upcoming playoffs.

All the more reason why a win against undefeated FC Select Rive-Sud would be huge; not only for team confidence, but for ultimately dashing the hopes of a L’OM side who will be seeking their own monumental win against FC Moldova to keep their playoff hopes alive.

POTG: Cedric Strazel scored an important goal in the win and will surely continue to be instrumental for the FC Blues in any extended playoff run.
