If anything, the FB1 Division has been somewhat unkind to the Mean Machine.

The wins have been sparse and the girls had accumulated five different shutout losses in the first half of their season, all of which had left them dangling on the edge of playoff irrelevancy.

But things seemed to have taken a turn for the better. Mean Machine’s most recent and convincing 5-1 win over Broad Squad has brought the team back from the brink, capping several weeks of important point-gathering (against fellow struggling sides, it should be noted) and creating some momentum heading into the most important chunk of the season.
