Gunners
BROSSARD – TO PRACTICE ON THE WEAK
16 Jan

Tough losses can be revealing; as can those relatively benign and easy wins.

So while Gunners captain Christopher Mirasyedi isn’t making too much of a 7-2 win over the dead last FC Blues this week, the fact that his squad played well as a unit to get the three points bodes well for future encounters against the B Division’s best.

“We have struggled against the top two teams but the scores of those games aren’t representative of what really happened. Against both FC Select and Moldova we were in the lead until letting in (in my opinion) stupid goals. Hopefully come playoffs, we have Lady Luck on our side and get the wins I think we deserved.”

POTG: Tactfully ignoring his own impressive 13-goal dominance with the Gunners so far this season, the captain insists “everyone is playing well and no one really is standing out.”
