LAVAL – AND NOT A POINT TO SPARE
10 Jan

One of the most balanced divisions in Laval shows no signs of any statistical give just yet – which is why Homenetmen will gladly take every win it can get.

“It wasn’t the most beautiful game,” admits Coach Mego Misdesyan of the 3-2 retribution win over Le Manic, though still going out of his way to praise both squads for playing a tight and honourable match. “Good teams always find a way to win, even if they don’t play at their best.”

The squad also got some help from the sagging Panthers, who stunned fellow B3 leaders FDA Standa 3-2 and allowed Homenetmen to open up a three-point lead in the B3 Division title race. These same Panthers handed them their worst loss of the season to date. “There are still so many games left to play. But this league has become much more serious than anyone could have imagined.”

POTG: Paul Tavitian and Narek Demerjian each scored in this tense match and both deserve credit for providing Homenement consistent firepower all season long.
