Flashwood
LAVAL – MORE THAN JUST A FLASH IN THE PAN?
07 jan.

Flashwood captain Gabrielle Joseph knows her girls haven’t been at their best this season. But she’s definitely not apologizing for taking advantage of a temporarily hobbled Lakeshore.

“I understand why they’re the best team in the league. They started the game with one man short and without their usual keeper,” she continues, adding that despite the early 2-0 lead her team still managed to go down 5-3. “We had to come from behind late in the game to tie 5-5. We were lucky. We could have won with better finishing.”

An inability to score goals might be to blame for Flashwood’s current FA struggles, given that many of their losses are low-scoring affairs. Having scored five goals against Lakeshore could potentially signal the start of something better.

POTG: Bianka Piché had three goals in this game and has scored five in her last two games for Flashwood.
