LAVAL – AN OLD WORK IN PROGRESS
07 déc.

You don’t always have to win big and talk big to become the best. Sometimes the biggest statements are left on the field.

“The score, in my humble opinion, is not truly representative of the game as we dominated for most of it,” explains a thoughtful keeper Sébastien Gauthier following FC Fabrose’s 2-1 win over the Red Knights. “We ended up scoring in the final few minutes when Amin Hammachin made a great play by dribbling through several opponents and sliding the ball to Amine Hilen, who only had to tap the ball into the open net.”

Despite fielding a rather new squad this winter, the B1 Division vets (and former champs) have managed to defeat the top two squads in their division with strong defense and good old fashioned hard work – and without any “ego” or “big heads” to sour the team spirit.

POTG: “The revelation of the season so far has been Amin Hammachin, who has been stepping up big time for us. He can do it all from the midfield: dribble through players, hold the ball, score with his powerful shot, take away balls with his good defensive positioning and more.”
