LAVAL – NOTHING TO FEAR, NOTHING TO DOUBT
16 Nov

Saint-Jerome FC is the soccer equivalent of the new kid who doesn’t cry on his first day of kindergarten.

“We’re a new team but you won’t find any fear in our eyes,” explains captain Kevin Charlebois in the wake of a mixed start to their first winter season in Totalcampo’s top division. “We’re not afraid to play Marseille all winter long – playing against good teams only makes you better.”

Its reputation cemented despite a tense pre-season loss to the defending champions in question, Saint-Jerome has since managed a draw against Barca before dropping a one-sided decision to L’Assomption this week – both outcomes acceptable to its leadership given the limited experience.

POTG: “Our keeper Michael Leroux played two outstanding games for us. He’s a big player and shows it every game.”
