You can age with grace. Or you can age with authority.

“We have a fun but very intense team,” explains Connie Cant of the now infamous Fab 40. “We are much older but have the skill to make up for our lack of speed. Some of us have been playing together for over 25 years.”

The team’s first summer playing seven aside would have to be classified a resounding success, ending just a point shy of the FB Division regular season championship with an 84-point goal differential to boot. “Spartan and Joga Bonita are definitely the teams to beat, but our last (7-2) win against Spartan has pumped us up for playoffs!”

POTG: “Our original goalie has been injured and player Marissa Chin has stepped in and been outstanding. She broke her finger last game and stayed in until halftime.”
