FC Selectcom has proved once again that starting off strong doesn’t always guarantee you’ll look good crossing the finish line.

After losing the pre-season championship and failing to beat their top two 35+ rivals until very late in the season, FC Selectom absolutely crushed Riverplate in the semis and slipped past mighty Italtech in the championship without surrendering so much as a goal in either game.

The 1-0 win against Italtech was particularly sweet for Captain Attilio Della Neve – some pre-season revenge against the same team that enjoyed a 15-point cushion heading into the playoffs. ``Once Alex Mone was able to split the defense and give us the lead, we just stuck with the game plan.``
