It’s almost a miracle Boiseries Elegance survived the opening whistle.

“The game started off a little shaky, to be honest,” explains team organizer Anthony Barbaro. “We had only four players on the field and our goalie. As the game progressed, more of our players showed up and it was tied 1-1 at the half. During the second half, I guess you can say we exploded with five unanswered goals.”

In the end, the league rookies will gladly take the 6-1 win over FC Awesome and chalk up the false start to nothing more than some shoddy organization – which is always easier to do when your team’s in the C3 top three two games into the season.
