Two pre-season games played to near perfection meant little as lean green FC Lightning got the old FC Boisbriand welcome in their summer debut.

The stingy newcomers, it should be noted, endured the 2-1 heartbreaker in question at the hands of a FC Boisbriand side still sore from their own summer heartbreak. But there’s more. Both squads will now share the star-studded FC1 Division with the B-Liners, a grizzled opponent fresh off its own stunning summer championship.

Nor is the men’s A Division lacking in fresh talent. Checkmate FC, Fila Paradiso, FC Galacticos and Grinta FC all get to justify their recent promotions to the big boys club against the likes of Ajax Laval, FinePrints FC 1 and Red Run FC.
