You need to lose big to win even bigger. That saying is proving particularly prescient for Haboub FC.

Having had their hearts handed to them in last winter’s finals, the sixth-seed underdogs were able to sneak past top brass Winter Soldiers on the strength of another two-goal performance by Kovensky Fils-Aime, forcing one last battle against the Sons of Nonna FC in next week’s C3B finals.

Whether or not Haboub FC will able to capitalize on their moment and catch the majority of the playoff panel off guard remains to be seen.

A PEEK AT WEEK 20

Elevated FC will look to tame the favoured FC Goons in one of two Monday night C5A semifinals.

It’ll be business as usual in Brossard as the top dogs in all three divisions face off in their predictable final matchups. In Laval, meanwhile, Fuego FC hope to finish off their upset campaign with a championship win over the Red Devils.
