Newly minted Fineprints FC 1 made a very big impression on a reigning winter champ this week.

Gabriele Folino scooped up four on the night while teammate Nicolas Garreffa supplied the classic cherry on top in a 7-2 Red Run FC thrashing, a win that leaves Fineprints FC 1 atop Laval’s top division with classic contenders Ajax and Aces on the outside looking in.

Avengers will aim to stay perfect as they battle FC United in Saint-Leonard Sunday action.

On Tuesday, the stingy The Banned Ones take on the goal-challenged Pink Ladies in FC1 Division play. The next night, Ciucci FC and Plei FC each look to climb free in a very congested C5B Division.
