Panelists who make their living betting on underdogs were rather sorely disappointed this week, as the only true notable opening round upsets went completely unpredicted.

While teams like FC Oasis, FC Babette, Pink Panthers and Blue Sky all failed to live up to our (mostly my) lofty expectations, the real stunners of the week included summer-swooning CCCP knocking out The Ruins 3-1 in the C5 Division, and under-the-radar Trimax ousting the mighty Toight Tigers by the same score in the B3.

LOOKING AHEAD TO WEEK 16 …

On Sunday, Avengers will defend their top pick status when they confront les Bleus in the St. Leonard semifinal.

Thanksgiving Monday will feature the FC Goons and Goldslick in the volatile C1 Division championship race. FC Thunder will look to knock out the favoured B-Liners on Tuesday at 8 pm.
