Queen of the World were nine games into an absolute dream summer, dominant in every regard, and utterly unstoppable.

That is, until their second run-in with the same Pink Panthers squad they savaged back in July didn’t go as planned. The Queens’ top guns went silent. Opposing strikers Sabrina Benfares and Stephanie di Bacco, meanwhile, did what no others had managed in the FC Division: they scored a combined two goals to walk away with the 2-1 win, leaving a small opening for the equally dangerous Avengers to exploit in their wake.

LOOKING AHEAD TO WEEK 11 …

The FC Animals can all but assure their place in the FC Division postseason with a win over les Coriaces this Sunday.

FC Parmigiano gets their last good shot at B2 Division heads USC Monday at 9 pm. Then on Tuesday, it’s a battle for FB supremacy as top dogs FC Boisbriand and B-Liners go at it at 8.
