Whether they’ve come from the land of the ice and snow, from the midnight sun, where the hot springs flow, two Brossard squads just swung the pre-season hammer of the gods.

In Division 1, longtime veterans Sabbah 1 beat FC Bimbo 1-0 to stake their 2019 claim on Brossard’s top division Division, where they’ll now have to battle the likes of Joga Bonito, Arsenal and defending champs Mistral.

The FC Immigrants, meanwhile, just barely edged past Sabbah’s second iteration in the Division 2 finale, the finishing touch on an impressive pre-season run that saw them blank Decathlon and FC International. Despite this early success, the Immigrants will definitely have their work cut out for them in the B Division, home of the defending 2018 champs FC Kabul, as well as the potent Ballkickers and Osadia e Alegria.
