There’s nothing average about the pain these undefeated Joes are prepared to inflict on unsuspecting opponents.

“Except for a bit of a sluggish start to the game, where our team wasn’t playing they way we know we’re capable of, we had an easy time picking Bastones United apart,” recounts Massimo Guido of the 9-1 dismantling that took place Friday night in RDP. “And it showed on the scoreboard.”

Now that this green group of long-time childhood friends has decided to set up shop in the C5 Division, all those opposed – including fellow undefeated rivals FC Barilla Pasta, who kept pace with a 5-4 win over Squadra Sam Simeon – had best take notice. “Coming into the season we weren’t sure what to expect. But we were very anxious to get started and there’s no doubt that we all share the same goal in wanting to win it all.”
