RDP – PUT SOME SPRING IN THAT PASTA
16 Oct

Penne Arrabiate showed up shorthanded and left empty-handed.

“That game broke my soccer ball shaped heart” declared fellow panellist Andrea Devico after watching her RDP boys endure a 2-0 loss to an FC Lebanon squad that was patient enough to wear the favourites down and then considerate enough to shower her with the winning champagne once it was all said and done.

Playing without their two top strikers and their regular keeper, Arrabiate just couldn’t build any kind of offensive momentum and ultimately surrendered two goals mid second-half in only their second loss all summer.

Still, full marks to Lebanon for single-handedly taking down the two top squads in the C1 Division – in front of their throngs of adoring friends and family no less.
