The newly formed Avengers were but a few lonely minutes away from making a huge statement in the FC2 Division.

“We were winning 3-1 until the last two minutes, when they scored two goals and tied the game,” explains captain Julia Carozza. “It was a tough game. Blue Ice has great offence.”

A team composed of friends and old soccer teammates, the Avengers are hoping to feed off each other’s strengths and gel more and more as the season progresses. “The team that will give us the hardest time will probably be Blue Ice. It seems as though they’ve been playing together for a while.”
