LAVAL – WHEN THREE IS REALLY A CROWD
29 Sep

What the Laval Playoff Panel lacks in numbers it more than makes up in diversity. Either that or Mr. Cory Cherrier Santiago and Mr. Remo Pampena are conspiring to confuse me.

We’ll take it from the top. I like Transilvania in the B1 Division because they always come through, but Cory is siding with the Spartans and Remo with Bottega. (Interesting that division leader Ashton Villa is getting zero love). Remo likes Leoni Azzurri in the B2 Division; I’m more partial to veterans Etna. And in the B3, I’m betting FC Union will continue their regular season progression and ultimately take out Cory’s FC Victoria Montreal. I don’t see Remo getting past the semis with Inter Milan.

I believe C1 Division leaders Einhoven will be able to keep Cory’s VTL United and Remo’s Nightrage at bay. Similarly, the longshot Eurostars have handled both top dog Nun’s Island Guys and CF Mormina during the regular season – I don’t see why the playoffs would be any different. Round that all off with an Inter Med victory over BSC Barcelona and an Arsenal win over the top seed FC Jets and I might just definitely have the last laugh over my two panellists in the C3 and C4 respectively.

Funny, though, that we all decided to come together to back Joga Bonita in the FB Division. Even panellists Melissa and Kristin can’t disagree with us on this one. A five-gun salute to the beautiful game, I guess.
