It’s not everyday that two pre-season champs get to duke it out all winter long. But the league-staple Beans and fresh-off-the-shelf FC Fusion will do just that – a matchup that’s sure to pack an explosive punch in Laval’s six-team FA Division.

The Beans blanked Armada 3-0 to capture the pre-season title after posting a couple of near misses against Prime 2.0 and FC Repentigny. Newcomers FC Fusion, meanwhile, handled their pre-season in dramatic fashion, blanking Those Girls 2-0 after a pair of equally decisive wins over Queen of the World and the B-Liners.

In Men’s action, the veteran Ashton Villa beat Andy Transport 5-4 and will seek out another B2 championship while their pre-season opponents battle in the B1.

Newcomers Acta Sanctorum manhandled FC Minestrone and Antipasto and will look to keep up a good first impression in Laval’s C2 Division, while FC Villamaria and their pre-season prey – the Laval Logs and FC Union – will settle their scores down in the C3 Division alongside summer champs Ibericos.
