RDP - PRIMED FOR A RIPPING GOOD TIME
09 Aug

Rip City, for lack of a classier term, has pretty much torn RDP’s top division a new one this summer.

“FC Boushtiez was very good,” begins Chris Riccio diplomatically, “but we managed to pull through with some clutch scoring and good defense.” In other words, Riccio and company still managed to make out with the cigars.

What’s more is that this week’s 5-3 victory was the team’s sixth straight. Rip City continues to dominate on all statistical fronts. And were it not for a 4-4 draw New Regime before that, they would be a perfect 10-0. In many ways, a win against that same squad this week would cement the B4 title race and force the likes of Calcio D’Oro and X-Men to look to the post-season for any potential retribution.

POTG: “Well our team is pretty much well balanced and we always have a different hero every game. But I’d say the season MVP is Tony Pulice.”
