Les Oranges are off to their worst start in recent memory.

But with their first win of the summer coming against the equally lifeless Wolfpack, dead-last Oranges might at least take comfort in the fact that it was this same opponent that kicked off a string of crushing one-goal defeats most responsible for their summer blues.

“It’s indeed quite new to us to be in the bottom of the standings,” admits coach Isabelle D’aoust, who blames a spate of injuries to her starting lineup for the squad’s troubles. “But our new teammates have been a big help for us. We now hope to pursue at our usual pace.”

This week’s meeting against Broad Squad will be a good test for the former champs, who could definitely use a little more offense if they truly hope to challenge some of the runaway top dogs in the FB1 Division.
