Looks like the newcomers came out to play in the women’s pre-season tournament.

It wasn’t always easy, but their third pre-season proved to be the charm as FC Touski captured the FB Division title with a 2-1 win over the veteran Broad Squad, a notable feat after doubling up on Ital-Ellas in their semifinal.

While Touski may thank the soccer gods they will not have to contend with Broad Squad in Anjou’s FB Division this summer, they will face multi-champs Queen of the World, who were on the losing end of a bitter 2-1 FC Division finale of their own.

Newcomers Les Hasbeens, who were responsible for the Queens’ misfortune after manhandling R2D2 in the semis, have since assumed top duty in Laval’s FB1 Division alongside Broad Squad, les Cougars and Les Oranges – three teams that might very well be inclined to teach the Hasbeens a little something about beginner’s luck.
