Last Sunday the champions of the regular season, FC Boisbriand has managed to get hold of their 2nd cup of the season with an overtime win against their rivals Joga Bonita. For the third straight game, Julie Morin opened the scoring for FC Boisbriand but the festivities were short-lived as Joga Bonita replied immediately. Joga Bonita took a 2-1 lead early in the second half and with seconds left in the game FC Boisbriand tied with a nice goal by Stéphanie Poliquin, who raised the very large crowd of FCB.
In the second minute of overtime, Mélyssa Heppell has managed to score the winning goal … they only had to protect the lead. FC Boisbriand is the winner of this great rematch. Congratulations to the entire team for their team spirit.
